I disagree that the header row should be integrated into the template because it has so much more variability than the Achievements tables. The markup won't be much easier than simply using standard wiki code (and one less template for users to look up).

Sorry, I wasn't meaning the header row, just the {| part (which is currently needed when using {{controlstable}}).

After creating [[Batman/Controls]], I think placing {{controlstable}} looks best if the controls were placed on the right-hand side of the table. If you move the controls to the left, the table looks awkward even though it would follow the standard layout method (because there's multiple keys assigned to an action.) As of now, {{prettytable}} is in use, making the table look a little uneven.

Still, it has to do with how data is presented, and whether the actions or controls should be considered row headers.

I see what you mean. The single column acts better as headers. It gets complicated when a single control has a large description, but this seems to work for games like Batman.
What say you?

Set up another example using Controlstable at Sin and Punishment: Star Successor/Controls.

I think it would make more sense if Action was before the actual controls, so I don't need to scan all the way to the right to find the control I want to see, and then scan left again to find the system
Dunno what to put here...
